The fresh breeze off the lake is reason enough to grab the kids and venture a trip to T. P. Hill Playground. Located in East Dallas at White Rock Lake, the multi-structured play area provides numerous options and activities to hold a child’s interest for an afternoon of fun. Kids can explore a space ship, climb on a caterpillar structure or play make-believe on a boat at sea. Parents will appreciate the playground design that offers plenty of seating, easy visibility of kids at play and other safety features like appropriate guardrails and suitable surfacing materials. Located next to the playground is a large, covered pavilion, providing plenty of shade and ideal for afternoon snack time.

Although this playground is equipped for safe play, parents should be aware that there are no rules posted on expected behavior. In addition, those with smaller children should exercise caution as there is no signage indicating appropriate age groups for the play structures.

This review was distributed to the City of Dallas Parks and Recreation for further review and/or action.
