Enjoy the beloved music and songs of The Wizard of Oz on the big screen accompanied live by the Plano Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Hector Guzman.

The Wizard of Oz is one of the most beloved films in history. With music, comedy, and drama, the film stars Judy Garland as Dorothy. The co-stars are Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, Bert Lahr, Frank Morgan, Billie Burke, and Margaret Hamilton, with Charley Grapewin and Clara Blandick, Terry the dog (billed as Toto), and the Singer Midgets as the Munchkins.

The film, notable for its musical score and unusual characters, has become an icon of American popular culture. It was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It won Best Original Song for "Over the Rainbow" and Best Original Score by Herbert Stothart. The 1956 broadcast television premiere of the film on CBS introduced The Wizard of Oz to the wider public.
