The observation deck inside Dallas’ Reunion Tower opened to the public in 2013 to give a 360-degree view of Dallas from 470 feet above the ground. The GeO-Deck, named for its geodesic shape, has high-powered telescopes around the exterior and interior decks, a 52-foot-long display panel called the Halo and carpet embedded with a street map of the city.
Park strollers at the base of the building and get souvenir photos with the kids in front of several fun backdrops.
The two upper levels of Reunion Tower – Cloud Nine Café and Five Sixty restaurant, both run by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck – revolve at one rotation per hour.
DART’s Red and Blue rail lines stop at Union Station near Reunion Tower. All-day passes for DART are $5 each. Parking is $6 for four hours and $13 for eight hours at the south parking lot at Reunion Boulevard and Sports Street.
