This museum (also known as the Cowboys of Color Museum and Hall of Fame) was founded to shed light and recognize pioneers who played a role in building the early American Western frontier, including Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, European American and African Americans. Children will get a glimpse of these minorities’ efforts to settle the West (sometimes known as the “Forgotten Cowboys”). Free weekly children’s storytelling is held at 11am–1pm every Saturday.
